After contacting the owner and finding out when they open, I am pleased to say i finally an amazing bar and diner in Ankeny opened in the morning for people who work nights. We had an excellent experience, got seated fast, waitress was friendly and efficient and the good was yummy. I had blackened salmon and a side salad with French. The salmon was delish and so was the salad best French dressing I've tasted, the waitress told us that they make most of their dressings. Breakfast is served all day so my grand daughter got cinnamon French toast and said it was yummy. My husband got a cheeseburger and onion rings and it was great too. Will definitely go back.
Felt like the late 50's early 60's .Very friendly place. Great atmosphere. HUGE selection on the menu. Breakfast is available all day if desired. Home cooking selections and huge portions.
